Final Project Blog Post

1. The process of creating my survey was to do an easy and enjoyable survey that will be interesting to those who are taking it.

2. I had some different open ended questions and it was more in depth.

3. I think demographic questions are very important that way we can see how different age groups and genders react to the questions differently.

4.  Survey results tell you how different groups respond to different questions and the general pattern.

5. I did not have survey results because I was late to do it when I was not here.

6. I think an Apprentice project would be a great idea of any kind.

Case Study

One Case Study that I studied other than my own is skateboarding. The skateboarding business started to skyrocket around the late 80's into the 90's. Some products sold in this business are skateboards, skateboarding shoes, and designer clothes with logos. Skateboarding shoes are now largely popular. One company the distributes skateboarding shoes is DC shoe company. It was created by two friends in San Diego around 1994. It took off because of its unique "street" style.

The consumers of DC Shoes are skateboarders and others.
The owners of DC Shoes have lots of discretionary income.
With DC Shoe ads, they use kinetoscope.
DC Shoes have lots of vendors on other stores.
The product DC Shoes sell are skateboarding shoes.

Another company I would like to study is Google. I am curious of Google because I am unsure how they make their money and how they became so successful. Also, i want to know how the search engine works, along with all of the other branches Google has.

Marketing Mix

I am opening a new coffee chain shop called Bucks of Stars. My shop will offer various different types of coffee. There will also be doughnuts and muffins. The prices will be affordable. An average coffee will only be three dollars. The pastries will be five dollars. I plan to put my shop in every town in the world. This way I can make lots of money. I am going to put my coffee shop advertisements on billboards, newspaper ads, and of coarse t.v. commercials. The prices are going to be affordable, and the store will be accessible everywhere.

Boston Olympics

It is a good thing that Boston was turned down for the Olympics because it would create a disaster. The city of Boston does not have enough room for the stadiums to be built. Also Boston does not have enough room to hold all of the Olympic athletes around the world. Lastly, the traffic would be brutal and not good at all.
