Case Study

One Case Study that I studied other than my own is skateboarding. The skateboarding business started to skyrocket around the late 80's into the 90's. Some products sold in this business are skateboards, skateboarding shoes, and designer clothes with logos. Skateboarding shoes are now largely popular. One company the distributes skateboarding shoes is DC shoe company. It was created by two friends in San Diego around 1994. It took off because of its unique "street" style.

The consumers of DC Shoes are skateboarders and others.
The owners of DC Shoes have lots of discretionary income.
With DC Shoe ads, they use kinetoscope.
DC Shoes have lots of vendors on other stores.
The product DC Shoes sell are skateboarding shoes.

Another company I would like to study is Google. I am curious of Google because I am unsure how they make their money and how they became so successful. Also, i want to know how the search engine works, along with all of the other branches Google has.
